Cute kittens. Do keep an eye on Perseus though, he does look a bit scruffy for a 4 month old kitten. He can use some more baby fat and some more shine to the coat.

Yeah, he's a bit skinnier than I'd like. We're going to take them both in to the vet soon for general checkups, so we'll see what the Vet thinks.

Why is the cat green?

The actual reason is the flash from the camera, I'm assuming.

I know you can get freaky weird green death glow from eyes from the camera flash, never heard of green fur though.

Could be the lack of flash too. Probably likelier.

Made pasta carbonara with added gorgonzola.
I like cooking with blue cheese: It makes your food smell like vomit, yet taste great.

I made chicken salad with the wrong kind of onion and as soon as you open the lid on the Tupperware it smelled like.... I don't know, feet? Feet and onions, it was awful. It was so delicious though and the smell went away in like a day.

I made Shepherd's Pie! First attempt at in depth cooking, and it was delicious. Much nicer than my mum's.

I told her so. RIP me. :P

Purchased "Heat Signature" on Steam.

The game began with a Sader Fiasco being knocked out of a window, commenting that this wasn't the retirement they wanted.

I like this game already.

EDIT: I think I've fallen in love with this game. It's violent and humorous and tactical and it's given me a wonderful introduction.

I found a shittonne of excess books thrown in the cardboard dumpster at work! I'm talkin' old books, yeah! Unfortunately I was foolish enough to display the turn-of-the-(last-)century edition of Goethe to demonstrate my wonderful find and it was promptly claimed for sale in the op-shop (thrift store, if you prefer)  where I work, but later on after I clocked off I filled my backpack with a wide variety of somewhat less-exciting but still awesome works.

Many of them were hefty hardcovers, so it was quite a good workout lugging them all the way home in the heat - but, I stopped to get beer en route! It's all coming up Ba-- errr, Yoink.

I also got mi madre a rather excellent Christmas gift for just a few dollars, what with my employee discount and all. ^-^

Edit: oh yeah, Heat Signature is a pretty rad game.
I should get back into that. Pretty sure it has a fair amount of new content since last I played!

Shhhh, Balthazar. Don't let them know your real name.

Also, that sounds magnificent. Save the books, Balthazar, on a holy crusade of metal.

Old books are awesome. I recently installed a bookcase into my bookcase.
The complete miniature works of Shakespeare.
They were passed down to me from my great-grandfather, who was a Dutch journalist reporting foreign news, and got them as a relations gift from the UK newspaper that had them printed in 1932 to commemorate the inauguration of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-on-Avon.
The books are 3.75cm x 5cm, their bookcase easily fits on a shelf of my bookcase.

They're not unique, I could even find them on the internets. http://voyager-press.com/blog/1932-works-of-william-shakespeare-complete-40-volume-miniature-edition-with-book-stand/

I got the exact same as in that link, except it looks like the bookcase in the picture has been repainted to match the colour of the book covers, and doesn't have it's original colour. Mine isn't black, it's just brown wood with colourless varnish. I don't have an inkstained book either hehehe.
