Maddoka Magicka seems like a really good show. I watched it through Sci-Fi Debris guy's episode recaps, so I've pretty much spoiled it for myself. Wish I could've seen it fresh though.

Watched Blade Runner 2049.
Found it good, and a little bit arthouse-ish.

Blade Runner Being good but a little art-house-ish at least sounds better than whatever they were doing with the trainwreck that was Total Recall 2012.

btw I just saw Rogue One, and found it much less annoying than Force Awakens. Hopefully these are signs that they're pulling back from the precipice of just packing non-stop "spectacles" into 2 hours, assuming all movie watchers are idiots with a 5-second attention span.

Playing Dark Souls 2, and after playing 3, I'm noticing a conspicuous lack of headaches. I ragged on the game very hard for a long time, but coming back to it and exploring SotFS, the game is definitely getting another first impression, and it's a good one at that.

And that's after, whereas I would have normally had dodged out the way of a Pursuer, an archer headshot me, leaving me helpless and stunlocked as I get cleaved in twain. Extraordinarily awful luck, but it was a fun death... whereas with DS3, a lot of deaths just felt like the game was laughing at me condescendingly.
