You're having wine and eggs...to celebrate your brother getting a talking-to?

You do you, dude :v

I assume it's coincidental timing.

Coincidence or not, that may be something I've done once or twice.  Not sure about the eggs.

...Gods I'm exhausted.  Yet another 3-hour sleep, but the construction's *actually* over this time.  Not only that, but I made time to see a Grateful Dead cover band with my visiting dad.  He was grumpy but I think I helped.  I feel really good about not shirking that.  The music and walking felt good too.

And now there's nothing I have to do for a couple days...  At last, time for some sleep and vidya.  Or maybe just reading- Lighter Than Heir webcomic has been darkly entertaining.  *sigh of relaxation*

I'm enjoying it.  The advertising is misleading in an interesting way, heh, it's a pretty dark comic about a team of young soldiers during a fragile peacetime.  Each of them is heavily flawed, and they have a lot of trouble working together.  The "main" character, the "Heir", is arguably the worst.  She's the only one with superpowers, and her father was a legendary war hero, making her an absurdly narcissistic glory-hound.

It may sound like I'm over-analyzing, but that's basically the structure of the story - the team tends to barely survive external challenges due to infighting.  But the characters don't feel stale to me, they gradually learn and mature...  Except for the heir herself, heh, so far.

The setting has an interesting mix of mecha-level electronics with black powder muskets, though the main "antagonists" prefer to eschew technology.  Super-powered humans are one in a million, but are of course a plot point, and are pretty consistent (they are super-strong and can fly, but just as fragile as normals).  It also uses German kinda like Firefly did with Chinese, which is neat.  Nationalism is a big theme of course.

I just woke up but I hope this isn't *too* rambly to be useful.  "Yes it's gud I lik it"

Found this little cool thing on Imgur today.
I mean, I'd start developing feelings for the AC unit too if I spent a few hours in 50 degrees Celcius.

Especially if I were in some of those costumes.

Listening to video game music, it's suprising how occationally you can recognise some games share the same composer because of similarities in tunes.

Mark Morgan did the soundtrack for Fallout, but did you know he also did the soundtrack for Zork: Nemesis? You can really tell from "Metallic Monks (Lost Hills)" and "Gray Mountains Asylum".

Also, Alexander Brandon, Michiel van den Bos and Daniel Gardopee worked on both Deus Ex 1 and Unreal Tournament 1999.

On another note: Homestar Runner has recently come out with a new SBEmail and "Skills of an Artist".

You wouldn't think my mother's cat was an adult if you heard him mew, on the other hand you wouldn't think he was a kitten if you watched him headbutt a tower fan over. He is a strong little (compared to a human) kitty. And very affectionate.

We call him Zorro as he has sort of a black mask over his face and eyes.

Hehe. When daggers are pointed at innocent hearts and musquets are ready to fire; when tyrants ride high, and govern with fear, and the forces of evil conspire - then from out of the night a hero must ride with courage that even a mask won't disguise. They turn to the cat called Zorro! His name is Zorro!
