Managed to escape the house and enjoy stable internet today. Was good. Accomplished nothing important.

Funnily enough I had a good conversation on the subject just the other night, with someone I'd just met and... cannot remember the name of now. Pretty strange situation for such a topic, but the conversation was quite inspiring indeed.

Other Happy: I got stuff done that I needed to get done despite the wretched weather, ate a burger, basked in some sun (and music) once it finally appeared after the storms, and managed to compliment a stranger on the train in a (I think) non-confrontational way whilst respecting their personal space. All this before midday, too- now I just have to resist the urge to snuggle up under my doona and spend the rest of the day napping. My sleep schedule has reached critical levels of messed-up.

I think so, too. But we'll see.

It stemmed from a conversation where he insisted that Dark Souls has the best combat of any game ever made. Which prompted me to ask if Dark Souls tracks the individual fingers and toes and nails and fat layers, and...

I'm sure you can imagine I went on for a while with that.

Oh, and the only RTS he's ever played has been Spore.

So yeah. We'll see.

I cannot describe the totality of my love for that Before/After pic. Especially with the Champions, and Zelda's exasperated "I have been fighting this magical hell-pig for like a century dude what the fuck are you doing" look. Come on, guys. Just let him be a kawaii-ass elf knight in a skimpy silky thing. It is clearly his true heroic destiny.
