The only really entertaining part of the movie was Gaston, who was masterfuly interpreted. It was like the actor was born for that role.
NOBODY GETS MASTERFULLY INTERPRETED LIKE GASTON

In other news, i am astoundingly pleased with having had a regular nights sleep. Ain't zombieing around today, no sir. B[

The first nier also had pretty amazing music, so I'm not exactly surprised. I still need to get this game, tho. I want to see where the plot goes, cause nier 1 was such a heart wrenching amazing piece of crap ;~;7

I got new USB-microUSB cables!

These are useful!

Also they do that fast chargey thing for my phone, which is nice!

They don't quite match the actual wall plug bit, but I'll take it.

Steam says I've played 14 hours of NieR: Automata, but I don't feel like I'm actually very far into it.
The full experience is apparently three playthroughs long, something to do with more of the truth behind the plot being revealed in the two after the first.
Yeah, I'll be playing this game for awhile. :P

For... One dollar less.

I guess screw you Paradox.

Maybe I should just get the season pass but I don't really know the company enough to trust them like I would Bethe- ... Obsidian.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

My main problem is the conceptualisation of the Beast. I've not seen it yet, only the trailers, but based of that (admittedly sketchy) knowledge, I have to say that they handled the Beast very poorly. It's just like he was....there. No awe or shock or even sympathy. He just was. From the clips I've seen, I think I'd find the furniture special effects and Gaston to be the best bits.

As an aside question to those who've watched it, how gay actually is it?

Yeah I admit... the trailers suffer HUGELY from "Yeah you know the story". I mean YES we know he is a beast, we know what he looks like, but can you at least PRETEND we haven't seen this movie before?

and if the movie has even a SHRED of that problem... It would be bad news.

I've never seen the movie. I've heard of Belle and the Beast before, but past that I legit know nothing about the movie.

This would fit with the other NieR games (and it's predecessors in Drakengard), so it's probably right. They like multiple endings, and the later endings say more than the first ones (and require a lot more work).

Sorry that I'm so drunk that I dare repost this in, actually, my safest space.
A-after making embarrassing overtures towards my... no this is the happy thread.

Would be nice if it were that simple, and there's really no reason for ANYONE to care...
And I'd rather nobody cared, I... just want a guy, I don't WANT any discussion about it.

I'll argue immigration! I'll argue economics!  Willingly!
Anything but that.  I'll gladly keep arguing anything but that.
Because I'm always having the argument.  Whenever I get sentimental.  And I'm much harsher than you, friend.
Friend.

I shouldn't post this.  But it makes me happy.

Well first night in my new apartment has passed and I am now awake and laying on the couch of my own place.

Last night I had some stromboli delivered (which is really more like a calzone), and it was pretty good (also had some of it for breakfast). Though right now the leftovers of that is the only food I have here since I just moved in yesterday... So I need to go grocery shopping later today. 15-20 minute walk down there and back, bah.
