The mouse I ordered came today. _{...Still waiting on the rest of the order.}

It feels good, and has multiple DPI settings, with a colored light telling me what setting it is. The only complaints I have so far about it is that it has a tendency to drag(as in, click-dragging something) when I mean to just click. It also(probably related) has minor problems with the texture of my desk, probably due to being an optical mouse(previous mouse was IR, I think), causing some slight jittering while idle. Pre-Edit: The jitter might be the cord, I'm still adjusting that to a comfortable position.

EDIT: Another plus, when I put my PC into sleep mode, the lights on the mouse turn off.

It's technically still 15 hours away, but today is my birthday! Yaaaaay!

The wind caught my hair and scarf in exactly the way I've been secretly wishing for ever since I started wearing scarves and growing my hair, blowing them dramatically to the side while I turned my head into the wind. Nobody noticed, nobody could have noticed because who would notice that?

But for a second I felt really, really cool.

Today was just plain gorgeous. I don't use that word often, but damn.

Nothing like driving by a reservoir that you're used to seeing piddly and dry, and beholding it in full blue splendor instead. The water level was high, the surface reflected the clear skies, the hills surrounding the reservoir were covered in green...even saw a couple of fishing boats out there.
