Necrons are tough later but they're very fragile in the early game, especially compared to orks or chaos, since their units are so expensive and weight of numbers makes a big difference.

Actually, basic Necron Warriors are completely free IIRC. The problem is that the more of them you have, the longer the build times take. This makes them somewhat weak against rushing since you can't just crank them out to defend against a sudden Ork horde.

DoW? Yeah, base game warriors cost nothing but time and pop cap. Time gets higher as you get more, but there's some way or another to speed it up.

Smashed them with standard Hammerheads + Skyrays + 6 Fire Warriors squad + 3 Crisis Suits with Flamers Combo. Necron Warriors aka their standard infantry do good damage and have a huge health bar to chew through, but Fire Warriors chew through just fine with their damage output, especially when you rush "advanced pulse rifle" tech (I always go for 3 Fire Warriors Squads at the beginning).

I came across this glorious animated movie thing on youtube today. The old animation style and effects along with all the 70s style soundtrack, oddball voice acting and weird and awesome plot made me pretty happy for about 2 hours.

I went out to lunch with friends at a sports bar type place in the city. It was... extremely nice. Real sit-down restaurants usually make me anxious but it was a chill thing. I even got into the sports theme despite not being a fan or follower of anything at all.

I enjoy this thing you call "social interaction," I must take some back to the lab for study.

Drizzt is finally confronted by Lolth herself, on the Material Plane. She tries every single method of persuasion she has (She's a goddess, so you know... All of them), and he straight up denies her. Best line in the book?

"Worship me! I command you!" Lolth said.

"No." Drizzt replied calmly.

That's a (admittedly INCREDIBLY BADASS) regular mortal telling a literal and physical God no, with no hesitation, no fear, fully aware that she will probably annihilate him, his friends, his friends' friends, and probably everyone he's ever met for doing so.

Then the end of the book, after he gives her a Reason You Suck Speech, she LISTENED TO HIM, and starts changing her ways.

A Chaotic Evil God of a Chaotic Evil Race took the time to listen to the My Species Doth Protest Too Much guy, and FOUND HE HAD SOME GOOD POINTS.

Which, IMO, works for Drizzt, because he was usually the first to really cash in on those tropes in a fantasy series and thus really earned the rule of cool that goes along with all those actions. Not that his awesomeness wasn't justified - it's shown that other Drow feel the same way as him, for example - but his story really was turned into an Epic sort of story, rather than just another fantasy novel.
