I just ate at golden corral tonight because I have money and couldn't decide what I actually wanted. It was mediocre as always, but its nice to have a choice between many dishes and have to cook none of them.
My only regret is I couldn't leave the cute waitress a tip because I paid via card and used all my cash on laundry.

But now my bed sheets are clean! Hurray!

bleached my hair again. i'll probably give it a touch-up tomorrow and maybe put some dye in

for some reason i start to feel antsy and uncomfortable if my hair is mostly my natural colour and i've never understood why

I used to color my hair almost all the time, and when I was that used to doing it, actually not coloring it started feeling like I was underdressing unless I stuck with my natural color for long enough it felt natrual.

Not sure if it's the same feeling but that's how it was for me.

Also uh... funeral was actually really nice??  It was exactly what a funeral was supposed to be, particularly for someone who lived so long.  Saw a lot of distant family for the first time in a while, got to be a cool older cousin to some kids (who are growing up SO FAST like WOAH), and we remembered the deceased by sharing stories.

Not just that but even the initial 7AM drive was very pretty, with the sun's rise over mountains shrouded by thick chilly mist.
Then funeral site (4 hours away) was literally perfect weather, 71F with fluffy clouds.
Then returned home to a THICK thunderstorm.  I love thunderstorms so much, even driving in them.  They're the best combination of awe-inspiring and terrifying.

And while I delayed the launch of our new tabletop game, we did get a good half session.  Which involved me singing "Deck The Halls" in an Orwellian nightmare Christmas-world while walking peppermints stared at us, giggling ominously.  Always watching.
For only getting 2 hours of sleep, yesterday was pretty awesome.  And then I slept like a log, sober.  Feels really good.

Edit:  Ooh I should get some sushi today, there's a place nearby but I usually feel too intimidated.  Not today!
