Got an Amazon gift card for Christmas, and it was just enough to cover a Logitech G502 while they were on sale. Got here today and I'm beside myself. Don't get me wrong, the good ol' M$ wired mouse is actually really good for what it is, but I needs them thumb buttons and DPI switch.

Just finished playing The Last Word (it's like a visual novel?) and ARGH does nostalgia hit hard when you finally get and see the full endings after completing the game at least once. While I do enjoy tolerate flailing around and checking everything, I like how narrative games can immerse a person when thoughts are connected to imagery. Or at least I've been told of myself as someone who 'generally links ideas to how they can play out or apply in her life' by a good friend. .-.;
...It's really fun to imagine symbolism game mechanics as if they were really played out given that one game.

Went to job interview. Think I did good. Maybe I'll get the job.

Good learning experiences; a year ago I never could've said I had made a resume or applied to job openings, much less went to an interview. Maybe I won't be such a hopeless loser after all.

Only way to be a hopeless loser is not to try. When it comes to job hunting I've found that persistence is the major key to success. Even now when I have years of experience in a fairly rare and in-demand skill set, getting a new job takes a good amount of work.  You just have to look at each interview as a chance to hone your interviewing skills and keep trying.
