Successfully made a version of my grandma's Beef Stew and Dumpling recipe without completely botching it. I added too much water to the soup... Then compensated by adding more flour than necessary.

But on the whole, it ended up being one of the better things I've made, especially since I already have waaay too much damn pasta in my diet. Something like this was relatively refreshing.

Also in more subtle happy news, my new winter hat passed its trial by fire cold today. Around two hours outside in near-freezing temperatures (AKA cold enough that a norwegian considers not sweating), and my noggin remained comfortably warm while encased in synthetic fur. Nice and soft, like covering my head in bunny. This means i no longer have to rely on my jacket hood for noggin warmth. B[

So am I! </highfive> My marks are also not necessarily shit! For example, I got a 10/10 in databases and the same in NeuroLing. Kinda flunked machine learning again, but I won't have to retake it, and I learned a few things about tensors while preparing for that exam, so I guess that's alright.
Now work! That is, a confusing amount of other people's code that I somehow have to get to function for me before New Year. Eh, I guess I can deal.

What kind of exams were those, though?

The "all too easy" ones, duh. Superconductors, nanomaterials, high-temperature resistant ones... no, but really, they were easy. The exams in previous years were significantly harder. I aced them too, of course, because I'm such a baka

I did fairly well in first semester of my French class after a 7-year break in learning this language. Not an A, but, according to our prof, that's a realistic goal for me in semesters to come.

I have no idea. That can be true, given that a lot of working documents in EU are using it, or so I hear.

So far I'd say it just has more rules than English, but they aren't that difficult to get the hang of (especially if you know English).

Well, the French language has a governing body (although I'm not sure it's a government body), English doesn't.  So yeah.
