Chacma baboons look almost exactly like dog people. It's vaguely uncanny, especially when one wanders up to your campsite, tips the bin over, and politely starts sorting through the contents for food. This was the incident that might have led to fisticuffs, had the baboon not been a coward.

I texted my best friend who I hadn't talked too in months (I'm not a social person) and they responded pretty much instantly because apparently they were literally about to text me, so it seems we're still friends, which is really nice.

I couldnt imagine a two wheeled vehicle getting on well with the road conditions up here. Most cars have trouble with the snow, wind, slush, etc.

Driving in the rain is hard enough down here.  Though I think it's more about other drivers losing their minds.   I hear driving in snow is like beach driving here in daytona.  I can't imagine driving like that all the time.  Driving on the beach I feel like I'm on a tiny line of solid ground and that a foot or two to the left or right I'm going to sink into an inescapable pit of stuckness.
