UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU yeah it was kinda overrated.
Enjoyable enough, but not as ridiculously amazing as people make it out to be.

Bah.  I haven't even seen a single person mention Star Trek yet.  Everyone knows it's the best science fiction franchise ever.  Except the new movies.  And Nemesis.  And, you know, pretty much all the odd-numbered Star Trek films, though I thought some of them were OK.  But at least there's the TV shows.  Except most of Enterprise before the last season (and that except the finale).  And kinda Voyager, which would give us stuff like Year of Hell and Equinox on the one hand and Threshold and Fair Haven on the other.  And DS9 was pretty good, but somewhat divisive.  And the less said about most of the first season of TNG or the last season of TOS, the better, probably.
