Dollar store? I catch them in Wal Mart and Fred Meyer for like $40, along with similar things for Atari 2600 and Intellivision. Way more than I'd pay for just a SOC reproduction.

xkcd does not lie.  ;P
Now I've got this big long animated short running through my mind where someone challenges Death to D&D and has this big huge adventure with hijinks and a few of his deceased friends and relatives join in and they have this big ol' game culminating in this epic struggle only for death to ultimately somehow prevail but everyone is okay with it, and the person who initiated the challenge is like 'wow, I'm okay with dying now' because the some ten years in which this campaign took means that technically he won, and then blinks and it's been like a millisecond and death gives him the chop and wanders off.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Fun fact: Babies cry a lot because they're freaking out about the aeons that they did not exist.
That's how they currently could communicate o_O They...cry. They're able to form more complex thoughts than that, but their method of communicating their need is...by crying :O
If they don't cry upon birth and otherwise, that's something to worry about :P
I mean I suppose you could say that because they are so young, everything bad that happens to them is literally the worst thing they ever experienced.

The question is, would you rather Death be the GM or the player?

So there's this game called Duskers.
Holy shit.
I mean, this is what I would have made if I made games. I dunno how something so graphically simple (though still beautiful) manages to be so damn tense.

Thing is, he'll only get away with that if he's also the GM!

At least one good thing happened tonight.

Girlfriend and I finally admitted we love each other.

We were both waiting for the other to say it...
