I know how things work.in hospitals, you see. I've watched several hospital dramas.

Well, there is some tension. You see, we did our residency at the same place (elsewhere). We hung up with different people, though. As a consequence, I'm pretty sure I'm better at dealing with hemato-oncological diseases, particularily MPDs. Likely leukemias and transplantation as well, although that's pretty meaningless at the moment given that we don't do that in this backwater, and most things are referred elsewhere.

Conversely, I'm also fairly sure that the other person is better than me at hemostasis. And this person is two years more senior, which is not a lot, but enough to provide with extra confidence and experience dealing with things.

I don't think there is any *serious* tension though. This is a very small place and we can hardly afford to bicker among ourselves when it's the two of us alone against the world...
