Oh it's nothing TOO hardcore, it just has to keep the pendulum upside-down by moving the platform upon which it is attached.

I've about halfway through with writing it, anyway. Just gotta add in the reinforcement learning component, and enhance performance via experience replay... shouldn't take long.

Huh. Didn't know that had its own day. FWIW, my 9-year old daughter has settled on being genderfluid, without really knowing that term. I continue to call her my daughter, and she's fine with that. She still identifies female most of the time.

Today has been, without going into detail, an extremely stressful and nerve-wracking day for me. Despite that, I've kept my cool and haven't had a single breakdown. I know a couple years ago I would've fallen apart the pressure; it's nice to realize how I've become that much stronger.

Craving a degree of otherness and its associated qualities is a reasonably common part of the human condition, I think, but hey, the whole point of this is bringing to light the prevalence of things commonly thought rare.

I mean I guess I wouldn't call myself genderfluid really because it's not that big of a thing, I mean, not as much as me wanting to look girl-pretty (In which I am INCREDIBLY OBSESSED ABOUT) but that is a thing outside of gender. But I get my dissociative episodes and feel gummy inside if I look at myself in the mirror too long and analyze my secondary sexual characteristics. And I don't think average people get that.
