SO I've been burned out hard by thesis \o/ lacking sleep per the past few weeks, having fun without any coffee or stimulants (PURE WILLPOWER GO!- Zzzzz), and now I've found out that the thesis can be OK'd before the end of October--it was that our adviser was leaving by around the 15th and we were worried about the lack of her presence during the final defense.

Can you take some time off and relax, or do you lack unscheduled time? I would recommend relaxation, as long as it doesn't eat into your study time. Balance is a good thing.

I managed to form my own competitive stacking friends network in Overwatch!

Because looking for people to play with on the web is kind of a pain since it's hard to synchronize time, I solo-queued on competitive, looked for people who are cooperative and communicative, add them as friend and to group, rinse and repeat, by the end they brought some of their own friends over and now we're all on each other's friend list so that theoretically we can get a sizeable team stack going on whenever we want to play competitive.
