What languages are involved in said translation work? Chinese/Mandarin to Russian, English or what?

I translated back and forth between Russian and English. There was a russian guy with us who actually spoke Mandarin Chinese, which was impressive.
I'm actually taking French classes in my university. I tried to get into English class first (that'd be a cakewalk with a pretty certificate at the end), but the prof told me to go learn a language I do not yet speak instead of wasting three years' worth of time and tuition fees on something I'm already proficient at. A solid point, so, given I had previous experience with French, that's what I went for.
Oh, and my supervisor over at the lab is kinda in favor of French because we have solid academic ties with France.

I sort of can translate written French, but I can't talk in it worth a damn. Yet.

I've coded a pendulum! :o

Now I have to code the hard part, the AI control algorithm that will swing it upwards...

The problem with that is the artwork appears to be completely redone - which means you can't uncensor it if it was drawn that way. I suppose some artist could modify the artwork, but it's unlikely that there's a separate image overlaying anything naughty.

I just checked the Steam boards, and people have confirmed this version removes the debug shop(which has a nude "dress"), and some changes at least to the beach vacation art. Topless monsters, like the Black Mermaid, are still in apparently.
They seem to have used the 2004 remake as the base instead of the 1993 original; it did indeed rework the art a bit.  I might be able to go through my old bookmarks and find an archive of artwork later today, since the site I used to use most often went down years ago due to inactivity.  Also, chibi artwork is still present, assuming you mean the little animations when you work or attend school; that's kind of a thing for all PM games, I think.

I dunno, though, the reviews are also talking about poor translation work and some introduced bugs in the Steam release, so it is something I wonder about actually buying at this precise moment.  I may throw money at it regardless, but...

I was honestly more curious about the literally-marrying-Satan thing.

It being a shit translation surprises me not in the least though.

Apparently I am quite appealing to the eyes, who could've known?

Also, happy that I have headphones with a mic, despite my lack of a webcam.

Also happy that I sorted out a schedule for things I need to get done, also putting some encouragement in there as well.

Had an amazing birthday weekend with my girlfriend :D

If anyone here is ever in Des Moines, you should try out Fong's Pizza and Zombie Burger. My gf's obsessed with them, and as I find out, for very good reason.

And I'm still gonna be here for another few days!

There is also a really good BBQ place in Des Moines. Sadly, I can't remember the name of it. Tommy's, or something like that maybe. Some of the best wings I've ever had there.

Although I've no idea where those places are in the USA ._. How do you people locate and know those names without knowing each others' states or something?

I've never been, but I heard about Zombie Burger when my sister was working in Des Moines for a while. Some day, I intend to stop there during a road trip or something.

Glad you're having a good time!

Partially it's because Des Moines is one of the only big cities in Iowa, so if anyone mentions the state it'll probably be the city mentioned. In my case, the office I work for is in Des Moines so I get flown out occasionally.

In general Americans usually know of at least one big city in most states, although the smaller and more sparsely populated a state is the less likely anyone outside it will know anything about it.

It would have surprised me a little if they had.  I'd expect to see marriage to Daddy dearest to vanish before that one did, and more justifiably so.
