Since my very job relies on internet connection nowadays, its not something I can do, either, but hey, if it works for you :v

Plus the internet is my main source of information about anything nowadays. I haven't watched TV in years and the only stuff I read apart from internet stuff is books.
The internet is literally my life. Like, I don't mean I spend all day wasting time on the internet. I actually do useful things, like, reading free textbooks, watching educational videos, and if I didn't have the internet I wouldn't have found Draw A Box.

Then there's also the deal with my two boyfriends being long distance.

Like, fuck, man, I can't imagine life unwired. And it's not like it'd increase my productivity since from when I have limited internet access I just bury my face in books. I'm not just a person who browse memes, I'm a modern book worm.

If people who use internet massively are pathetic, then I'm one hell of a piece of work.

Sometimes I do useful things on the internet!  Other times I play games, or be with my friends who are hundreds of miles away because I had to leave my home town because reasons.

Plus there's my extended brain which makes me a mild genius, even when I can barely type due to sleep deprivation or drink...
ESPECIALLY then because that's basically my favorite game with my best friend.  "Use the unlimited resources of the internet to carry on a reasonably accurate conversation about a topic we previously had no or FALSE conceptions about... in real time"

The game is best played after 2AM at the EARLIEST, and scoring is simple:  1 point per hour, 10 points for dawn.

Also I know I'm veering quickly off the happy thread but that wasn't directed mainly at JoshuaFH, it's just a fear that have been swirling in my head ever since Vector left, that me relying so much on the internet to base my identity as a person makes me, well, not a real person.

If I lived without the internet I'd probably liquidate my property to pay for passage on the Muskmobile just to have something worth dedicating my life to.

Might do it anyways if his timetable holds.

To be fair, I suppose the existence of the internet is the main reason why I'm not as excited about space (and the sea, too, but sea exploration stopped being cool a couple centuries ago) than I should for someone with wanderlust. (I've lived nearly a third of my life away from my home country)

WiFi is probably shitty on Mars, too.

I don't rely on the internet much since I'm basically half-unwired anyway, but when I do use it I never ever do anything even remotely useful or important.

Good luck! Your memes live on in our hearts.

You know, using the term wired let me easily imagine a Bay12 in a cyperpunk future.

I like to think of forums becoming either giant virtual libraries, or virtual bars.

I'd imagine it being like the Oneiroi in SCP Foundation. That is, some of us would be spooky internet-ghosts who speak in ancient riddles and like to make ourselves look more powerful and creepy than we really are.
