Fresh Gherkin is awful and makes everything it touches taste awful. Salt Gherkin is awful but can be used in things that reduce it's awfulness. Vinegar Gherkin is great and should be used for everything or just on it's own. In fact, I am going to go eat some crispy home pickled vinegar gherkin right now, just because I can and it tastes great.

As for lettuce, tomatoes, and most other veggies, I don't particularly care for them on their own, but they sure are great at adding to the greater savourity of other things, and I wouldn't go a single meal without them if I had the choice.

oh yeah also one of the first things that happened was that one of the other game design dudes was like "D&D group yes?" and we were like "yes" so now we have a group of 8 or 9 players which is a VERY LARGE D&D group but it sounds like it'll be fun so hey

So the intense fly infestation that had been bothering me for the last few days is finally subsiding. This means one of two things:

1. The flies have no place to reproduce, as I've completely sweeped my property of all organic matter that could support maggots, and so have simply lived out their short fly lifespans and died gradually.

or 2. I now have a lot of spiders I don't know about. Like, A LOT of spiders. It's about to get fucking Arachnophobia up in here.

Let's hope it's 1.

Lettuce is air and good. Can be eaten alone much like bread.
As in- can, but why. Only if there is nothing to go with the bread.

Onions aren't meant to be noticed. I hate them in burgers and salads, I want them in real foods like stews, roasts and burritos.

Tomato is savory apple. Put 'em anywhere, eat 'em whole if don't have apple.

Carrot is better lettuce.

Beetroot is aussie icon but also waterlogged and stainy, so no.

All forms of Mayo can go die.
Various ritzy aolis may be tolerated.

Chicken livers aren't an especially odd food, but I sure love eating them.  Guess I could try hearts sometime.

While chicken hearts are ok, I much prefer bull heart :U! Pressure cooked with garlic and onions and sliced into fillets. Basically completely lean meat with a nice gamey taste, even though it has nothing to do with game.

Chicken hearts are awesome tho, since they have their own kind of texture and fat about them. Pretty delishus barbecued, but you can cook them in a pan with some vegetables of your choice and fresh onions, serving with rice or pretty much anything you want. Taste may take some getting used to, but its nowhere near as strong as liver, so you'll prob be ok.

Honestly, the worst thing I can say about it is that its kinda chewy at times, but I like chewy things, so :U
