So I played Undertale for the first time today. The whole game, from beginning to end.

When each monster started talking... I'm not very eloquent but that was pretty bad.

The Asriel story... was terrible. Especially because I predicted the ending.

Talking to Sans in the final corridor? That brought a smile to my face.

Following Asgore was tense...

But before I went in, I went down the next hallway. And found the empty coffin with my name on it...

I died, and... then I walked away to complete the True Pacifist route stuff. Though this being my first playthrough, I'll probably just save with all the requirements of True Pacifist, end the game on Neutral, then reload the file and get True Pacifist.

Assuming I can defeat Asgore :/

You have to finish the ASGORE fight first. Dying doesn't cut it.

I still haven't played it either, probably next up after this rerun of Vampire the Masquerade.
Somehow I haven't been spoiled on like anything, either, except some minor ending hints.

Also, decided to mix up my Fistful of Frags playstyle by playing with the "Zorro" playstyle - only melee weapons, no throwing of anything. It turned out to be pretty fun, although a number of people didn't seem to like that I was trying to be cool

I'm (Steam) friends with the guy who thought up of the playstyle now.

Swatted a fly in the bathroom. Noticed a spider sitting in a web in the corner, so I dropped the dead fly corpse in the web.

Later found the spider sitting on the fly, presumably eating its sweet sweet fly fluids. Feels good to be looking out for a local spiderbro.

If books taught me anything, a decade later you'll be saved from an alien bug by a giant magic spider which is that spider.

And then the alien bug will kill the magic spider which'll die but in the process give you its magic powers.

Today I learned they're tearing down the old mine tower in my town. It's a shame because it was a really cool looking thing and I only ever climbed a third of it (the rest of the railings were too rusty and unstable to risk going any further up). But, I get to go and see it happen live, will probably try and record it too.
