I like the longer days, but the shorter nights are also nicer. Because they're a lot less freezing.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but just thought I'd say.

For me, it is winter, and the winter solstice today. It is very cold.

I mean, not cold compared to the northern hemisphere, but cold enough.

It's something like 30 degrees Celsius in the sun in Moscow right now, and it has been for a week now, I think. We get occasional rains, so that's nice, otherwise it would be unbearably stuffy.

I don't like this kind of weather.

Well it casually breaks thirty at noon, but it's mostly 27 to 28 during the rest of the day. I might have exaggerated a little.

We had temperature climbing into forties back in 2010. Lots of smoke from forest fires too. Those were bad times. Now it's actually alright.

I guess it's time for me to say 30 is nothing in revenge for people saying 8 was nothing. Yay for acclimatization.
