There's not even many TV shows I'd watch at all anymore. For every TV show I'd watch regularly (most of which are off the air anyway) there's hours and hours of YouTube.

Not that that stops Charter from constantly harassing me to upgrade my plan to include TV. :/

I haven't actualy watched tv for years now. There's no point to it. All content I enjoy can be found online and downloaded. TV is going to either die or merge with the internet, something which is already happening.

Not just that, but most of them can be watched legally for some fee or ads - or they aren't being sold in any convenient way, which is a moral threshold for me.

Compensating for not being able to play new DOOM by playing Brutal Doom and having a "doom-off" where my buddy and I are seeing who can beat the first two games first with the modifier that I'm on Black Metal (nightmare + 50% faster and stronger enemies) and he's on hurt me plenty because I played for years and he's new and playing the BFG edition of regular doom (and I'm missing the bonus levels of the second game, I forgot the name...). For style points, I'm trying to get all the hidden levels too

We're tied as of now, despite me having a few days head start. Both of us are a little less than halfway through Doom 1
