Not sure how anyone is doing anything wrong since the above was pretty clearly in jest/ironic, but there's a better way to bring behavior to people's attention than calling them am asshole.

Also calling someone out on a horrible pun is not in the asshole handbook. It's basically an expected reaction of every human.

I always used Cringe as 'This has caused me pain'. Which I assume is the original meaning of cringing.
