Y'all are joking, but it actually is. Or at least it was two years ago when I last had my antibody levels checked. (so maybe not)
Realistically though, pre-vaccination mostly just cuts down on the number of shots you need after a bite instead of eliminating them. Rabies is a friggin' scary disease. By the time you show symptoms you are already dead.

I've had the chance to hand-feed a lil' bat before though which was the cutest thing ever though so totally worth it.

Also you won't catch rabies from having a bat house regardless, unless you regularly get on a ladder and shove your hand in it I guess? (probably not even then) Meanwhile they'll eat all the mosquitoes they find in your yard, so you're probably reducing your risk of animal-borne diseases by having one, overall.

iirc down syndrome is due to an abnormal chromosome replication, but I think you can tell whether your child has down syndrome within the first few months of pregnancy.
