Ahhh, I managed to see Zootopia in theater! I knew it would probably be enjoyable but it was actually better than I imagined it would be. Good movie.

The reason is because if something is animated, it will inevitably be translated and possibly localized for whatever country.
Why? Because of children, I guess..
Now this might not be so bad, if it wasn't for the fact that I can only see the Swedish version in the town I live in.

My dad and I just spent an hour shooting the breeze about old radio programs.  Mostly they aired before I was born, but we were sharing the memory of when he showed them to my brother and I much later.  Despite all the troubles the three of us have with each other, we still have some in-jokes thanks to those shows.

I'm glad we're getting along well again, after his recent visit.  The wounds of the Christmas debacle are pretty much healed.

Also, unrelated, I'm a sucker for characters who face predetermination and spit in its face.  Like Magus in Chrono Trigger ("I must simply laugh!"), or this bit from Erfworld I've been rereading:

The irony of an Oracle named Delphi who people don't believe is pretty great too, but that's par for the course in Erfworld.

The reason why you haven't heard about it is probably because it is a Wii U exclusive.

It apparently came out in '13 on the Wii U, for what it's worth. Done by the same lot that did stuff like Bayonetta, Infinite Space, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I hadn't heard about it until a few days ago, either, probably mostly because I don't own the machine and haven't had a console for... a long time now... but still. It's pretty awesome.

Doesn't seem to actually play much like pikmin, though, though the parallel is pretty obvious, ha.
