It's a lot less than 'I spent my whole time doing this D:' and rather 'this tab was open and I was logged in' which applies to 'I can be doing other things at the same time'.

In my case, I'm reading a ton of research material and online stories/novels, and in between checking the newbox here or playing B12 forum narrative games. Or PMing people ._.

It's not an exact count of how much time you actually spend, in this context.
