Can he, though? I can't recall if we ever see him eating anything that isn't honey. It may be his digestive system is incapable of processing anything else, and trying to wean off his addiction would be straight up suicide.

... which might make for something pretty amazing in regards to a plot, and if you're looking for complicated subject parallels it's right there alongside addictions you literally can't get rid of, and have to manage or die. Pooh's slow degeneration trying to stop, the terrors of trying to go to something else only for his body to rebel, the eventual breakdown as he gives in and binges for a period, the eventual drawback and assistance in finding a balance that both keeps him alive and keeps the pull of the honey from damaging his other activities... you could do some work with that.
Poohspotting? Cor, that has has potential...diving into "The Worst Rabbit Hole In The Hundred-Acre Wood" after a jar of honey falls in...Tigger as Begbie, Piglet as Spud,  the whole thing ending with Pooh declaring, "Choose Life, choose a career, choose a family, choose...oh bother."

Don't get me wrong, I think both Inside Out and Zootopia are great films, I'm just still mentally adjusting to kids movies being a lot more nuanced than when I was a kid. It's a good thing.
Is it? Seems pretty pointless to me. Kids don't usually care about any of that crap unless if affects them directly, and then you don't need a movie to start talking about it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you don't have kids? These are not easy topics to broach with your kids. Hell, they're not easy to broach with ADULTS. And it's nice to see a movie saying "It's okay to be sad. It's IMPORTANT to be sad at times." rather than just encourage Pollyanna-ism. Or to see a movie say "Yes, we tout America as a diverse place where we can all be different and get along and it's not actually like that but that doesn't mean the whole thing is broken. And yes, people can say insensitive things but it doesn't mean they're automatically bad people. And maybe we should all just take it down a notch."

Well, at least they're not learning from Michael Bay.

Okay, yeah. I'm thinking about toddler-tier children. If the films are aimed at older kids then it's probably worthwhile.

Well, at least they're not learning from Michael Bay.

It's also an interesting challenge because my daughter is hitting that age where it's really sinking in that the world is NOT an inherently good place. But she's still unaware of just how ungood it can be. And as her father, I can't help but want to shield her as long as I can while simultaneously wanting her to grow as a person and not be so sheltered that she breaks later in life when she finds it out the hard way.

She's still positive and caring and optimistic and I want that to last as long as possible. I'm terrified that middle school is going to break her, because let's face it -- middle school SUCKS. It's like the real-world equivalent of Girlinhat's "dwarven daycare", only with less fighting starving dogs for food and more "trying to stay sane and well-adjusted in the Byzantine maze of cliques, hierarchy and emotional manipulation of your peers".

You can also ignore most of it and read books instead.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Sure, if you're a total introvert who doesn't mind being shunned for three years. I was, she isn't. And I was shunned for rather different reasons.

Nope. *Raises hand*
