I played violin growing up, I really should pick it back up...

My trusty blanket of 4 years is in the wash, but I was cold, so I finally unpacked a blanket I bought for my folks when they were visiting (never used, they packed like they were camping).

It's literally like silk, after what I'm used to.  Considering that my trusty 4-year-old blanket produced half a handful of lint with every washing, I shouldn't be so surprised.

Anyway, that ain't Megalovania, it's Spider's Claw. Megalovania's plenty jazzy already, really.

Oh, Liquid Negrocity is one of the first I tried. For my original post, I was either going to post The Middle of Something Really Excellent/Blue Atom or It's Showtime; I ended up just deciding my embouchure was too bad to actually get anything decent out and post about that. The fingering I'm fine with, it's near exactly like a clarinet, it's just that lax tenor embouchure that I can't deal with. I end up squeaking and switching octaves incessantly.

Incidentally, the composer for The Middle of Something Really Excellent also composed the song I use for Fortbent's title.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Even ifmylast weeks have been hectic workfuntime.

In that I thought Saturday was my only rest day and I texted my teammates and classmates that 'Be ready for school tomorrow! Class in Research; don't forget to attend'.

And then I get: "It's Sunday tomorrow o_O"
