Met with the book club at my school today and for the first time ever we're reading a book I suggested for our next discussion! (The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley, the story of Flavia de Luce, an eleven year old girl living in a dilapidated manor in England and solving murders using chemistry, whilst indulging in a morbid sense of humour.)

On a completely different note, as much as Discovery Channel is pushing Bear Grylls as their resident hard-ass survivor master media lap dog, i actually really enjoy his Breaking Point series. It's inspiring as hell to see normal people taking on their inner demons, and generally winning. It kind of makes me want to take on my own, but i keep making excuses to not leave my comfy bubble. :v (confronting fears is scary and unpleasant, lazing around isn't)

I'm not saying that it's necessarily the greatEST, just that it's great. :v
I s'pose it's possible to have a godawful saturday thanks to work and things like that, but so far, saturday has, on average, been the best day of the week for me. It's a day off, and there's not an evil monday looming right after it. (to be fair to mondays though, they're only evil when you're not NEET)
