I'd suspect a lot of people are like you, but aren't near as open about it as you are.

They're there. Like really. I just have awful social anxiety and decided to be myself (and then admit all my mistakes and learn from em along the way) rather than be crushed by the pressure @_@

But yeah--thanks for kindling good memories greatorder. Now I'm reminded of my grandparents (who are currently...not here with me.) and how they brought us up. Happy memories.

I've only watched the film. What's the book about? The film had me thinking a lot on how life would be alone on a planet by yourself: Pretty awesome thing. (Just felt a ton lacking because there's a lot to cover)

Also some recent discussions with a friend had me thinking on how experiences influence beliefs and the worldview. That link leads to a...sorta list of Hayao Miyazaki's (and others') works over the years--that's one huge happy I'm happy to have watched.

Found a link of the Miyazaki's interview, with context being somewhat like:

The first part of that video explains a lot more about what he means by Ghibli will fall apart. He advises people to quit once the job is no longer interesting. I think he believes in his employees that they will pursue their own creative outlet. He knows that Ghibli will fall apart without them. And my understanding is that he wants it to fall apart, rather than continue to exist as a brand without substance.

I love the dual and triple-techs!  And the way enemies move around on the battlefield some, and it actually matters...
And the crazy multiple-endings system, which I won't spoil, just hnnng.  First game I played with newgame+
The "hardest" ending was so fucking cool, because it was dead silent.  No words, only battle.

Oh yeah, the DS version...  I should probably pick up a copy, I haven't played for a while and it'd be a good mobile game.  And I know about the new ending it added, and it sounds intriguing.

All I've heard about the added content is that its either rubbish, or it tries too hard to make chrono cross work as a sequel.
