Yeah. The nihilism angle is delicious.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Somebody should perma post this thing or something, because it understands the source of about 1/3 of the problems we have.

It's funny when a comedy website starts throwing some of the more truthful philosophical musings than most clickbaits, news, blogs and school.

I'm going through that article, I'm on point 4, I'm 19 years old, and I can't relate to any of those things. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that authors live in America and write for Americans, and I was born and raised in Moscow, which isn't even quite like the rest of Russia in many things, but the fact that I can't find any common ground with what a lot of people can relate to about their most difficult life period is rather saddening to me.

Okay, am I the only social outcast who doesn't think other people are terrible human beings?

That's...probably mainly because the start is worded in a satirical(? unsure on word) yet subtle way and does not serve as a serious and valid thing for international/national reasons. It takes a good idea and spins it to give thought :P [Some ideas used there working on implied ideas/stereotypes is a hint] but it isn't necessarily...like, something to really base conclusions on. Although it does contain good ideas in it.

But...yeah. I doubt that you can't find any common ground there, knowing your insight from in between them posts of yours. Probably just currently or in the thoughts at present.

Eh, I was a social outcast for most of my child and early teens, until I discovered that, no, most other people aren't terrible, I was just being a dweeb about social interaction. Then I got over it.

This classical mythology class is so fascinating i love it.

Goddamn if I was under different circumstances I might actually swap career plans. But that's not really a feasible option for me right now as far as I'm aware. And this might actually just be my inner worldbuilder being a hyperactive puppy about having new material to work with as opposed to something long term. I dunno.

Anyways this class is so freaking great i love this

In my opinion, everyone has their moments, both terrible and terrific. Nobody is simple enough to be called a terrible person period.

Well technically those people would stop being terrible if they cease to be alive.

Also I was serious when I meant social outcast back there :P That was my past. And Icy is correct here in full.

Nobody is simple enough to be called a terrible person period.

I think he meant 'their whole lifetime'. People could be terrible during the current time, over an elongated period of time due to many reasons. But nobody is born terrible.

Eh, I once knew someone who got close to that, but he got better. By the time he left my life for good, he was tolerable.
