Why would anything but a musclebeast produce muscle milk? That would be an absurd naming convention.

So me and my brother went ahead and completed the new starter pack for Brutal Doom v20b, and oh me oh my that's some good stuff. Gratuitously detailed blood and gore is entirely okay when it's pixelated demons you're shooting to bits and pieces. :v

This i will say, though: Map 28 is ASTOUNDINGLY unsettling and unpleasant for something with Doom-tier graphics. It's not like the original Doom games didn't have relatively gruesome imagery (i.e. impaled/hanging/eviscerated bodies), but here it's taken to a level that i didn't think was possible with such low-res graphics. It's probably the attention to detail doing it; for example, the marines hanging by their wrists from the ceiling (some of them missing their legs) have sickly purple arms above the restraints. Oh, and they're STILL ALIVE. And making various agonized noises. Those guys weren't even the only ones needing a mercy kill. Suffice to say, we eagerly provided that, mostly to make them shut up.

Of course, such a spectacularly unsettling level needed an almost equally unsettling soundtrack. I never did think that Doom was very good at making me feel uncomfortable (not counting mods with jumpscares, because fuck those), but this level succeeded. Of course, this all just made it much more satisfying to murder the final boss for being such a dick. Great mod and map pack, would recommend to any Doom 2 players/owners. c: (also bonus points given for making hell an actually unpleasant place instead of "wow i want to colonize this")

It was okay, I guess. Was mostly about the whole mystery thing and I didn't think it was terribly well executed as a game. I'd have preferred to watch it as a short film or something, seeing as there was basically zero interaction. I'd probably give it a Rank 3.

Well we have seen plenty of (wonderful, beautiful) pieces of musclebeast art right?  And they're basically ripped centaurs, just like the lusus.  I guess that isn't proof but seems pretty safe...
