Hugs are pretty neat, even considering how uncomfortable i am with physical contact (MODERATELY!!). They're somewhat situational, though; for example, i'd hug mum any time of the day (yeah i'm a momma's boy), while dadhugs are more reserved for especially happy occasions (i.e. returning from an excursion), even though i love him no less as a parent. I would probably never hug my brother unless i had previously thought him dead, and i think he shares the sentiment. :v (we're absolutely bros4lyf though, and frankly i sometimes feel bad for giving him a disproportionately large amount of shit*)
Also, as Graknorke says, female friends who initiate a hug are also granted one (and the occasional drunk male friend, it's about equally awkward to me anyways). Can't speak for cuddling, haven't really tried it.
Though in my own defense, i mostly only give him shit for certain annoying habits that he repeats ad fucking nauseam, otherwise it's just joking name calling ala "you're a capsized tug boat" which he also indulges in. Honestly though, half of his annoying habits wouldn't be so bad if they didn't poke directly at my anxiety buttons; i'm very uncomfortable with being watched (and thus paranoid as hell about it), and his default state when not gaming seems to be staring either at me or my monitor from various positions (sometimes standing RIGHT behind me and constantly bumping up against the back of my chair). I should probably tell him, but i don't want to make him feel bad about it, and it'd also be great if i could get used to observers. The big problem here is that i then tend to get angry about an actually fairly minor thing, but really, wouldn't most people get miffed if someone else was constantly making them uncomfortable? :I
also fun fact: i'm the younger brother
Although i gotta give him credit for his level of self-control, because not once did he ever beat me up for being a gigantic pain in the ass, and the few times he has lashed out at me were... Quite justified, honestly. If anything, i feel bad for having provoked him to that point. :v
