Posted a comment on one of my favorite youtubers and it was him telling the story in his D&D game about how his party fought predator.
My comment told a very brief version of how my buddies and I in RL decided to give my players on my D&D game on here (its ended sadly) a surprise. My buddy sat down and made a paladin with 4 multiclasses, more feats than you can get at that level (he was level 12) and almost all the future tech items and weapons. We came up with a description and I put him in the world showing up by ripping a demon in half.
I made one post describing him and I think it was Sirus who said something among the lines of "Why is there a space marine in our D&D game!?"
Heh, that was me. Kinda hoping we don't get more of them in the Pathfinder game
If nothing else, he'd think I'm some sort of xenos and try to purge me.
It made my day knowing other people found that funny as well.
On another note (and this will terrify you, Sirus), I discovered heroforge and I created the second character I ever made and the most memorable of the ones I made outside of DMing, and he's known to piss off a lot of people with his presence because his phsyical description is similar to a character made by Stephen King. And I made this character a villain in a mostly heroic group, and his only friend was the other evil character after they blew themselves up.
Sirus, and many others on here, will remember that this guy was the first quest giver in that same game with the space marine. He was an average man in height, but he had a mechanical arm and partially his torso was machine as well. He was an artificer who almost killed a party member right in the beginning of the game. The party discovered that he isn't all what he is truly and before the game ended, he was taking a road trip to the abyss because he could.
And I finally gave him an actual physical look. And I felt like I created a monster...
It was a fantastic feeling
