After way too much work, I finally got Kali installed on my shiny new laptop. Windows installation 1 of 4 is now in progress (one installation to be Windows 7, another to "upgrade" to Windows 10, and each needs to be installed twice because I only have an upgrade copy, and Microsoft is a cruel and irrational master).

“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
