Well that's it, I'm going to learn Russian at some point, I can't be left behind by the rest of the forum...

I took Russian for two years in middle school (counted as one because of how they did languages there), then another in high school before they cancelled the Russian courses entirely, forcing me to switch to another language, of which the choices were French and "no, just French, Spanish is full."

I've since forgotten most of what I knew of both but can still read Cyrillic, for the most part. Slowly.

Got a great job, a running car, a non-paycheck-to-paycheck bank account that has actual real money in it, and I'm slowly but surely building a family, starting with my wife and I, our dog Patches and our cat Fate.
