Maybe this holiday I'll find some Legend of Zelda games. I know almost nothing of them except that they've spawned immense quantities of good fanart.

The main character of the games is a guy in green with a sword. He's Zelda. He saves the princess.

The bad guy is called Gannon, and he is a giant pig with a thing for triangles.

No he's a chick named Linkle who has to rescue the three parts of the Shiek from Triforce.  Dorfganon gives him a sword because it's dangerous to go alone, and Error dislikes smoke.
Zelda's just the game's name, like Metroid.

You will meet a man named tingle. He's the love interest.

Meanwhile, all the games that feature a mentor figure involve him shouting about dinner and "boi"s.

I should probably have mentioned that I also know the stuff that can be derived from the fanart. Like who Link is, and so on.

The first games I played were Nintendo Hard titles. They helped make me stubborn about beating things. Then Zelda started being a thing and I don't know why I liked it. tbh I think it was partly because I thought Link is cute. Minish Cap was the first title I p,ayed which wasn't really my taste, but I really enjoyed A Link to The Past. The newer titles seem to also start putting action back into the puzzles as well.

Wind Waker is the best, in my opinion. In fact, Wind Waker is my favorite game of all time.

My supposedly free time was eaten, and didn't have enough time to program fun shit, but at least I've figured out how to interestingly balance RTS units against each other! It's really interesting and it's definitely gonna be used when I finally get enough free time to make a new map.

Playing through Hotline Miami 2 and I'm actually competent at it this time. I still don't like the levels, but running at a nice framerate means that at least I can cope.
