Seriously, my SSD can only handle a handful of games...  I basically have to choose one modern triple-A game at a time, it's crazy.

That's exactly why I went for paired SSD and HDD when I got my new computer, SSDs just flat out don't have enough space for a gamer, so they're mostly for system files and such, maybe a few programs and games with small footprints that benefit from the increased performance.

Yeah, I'd say most of the benefit for an SSD comes from installing your operating system on it. The faster loading time in games is rarely worth it, though there are some games that have frequent enough loading screens to make the experience more pleasant on an SSD. If it's bad enough to notice, then playing some storage space tetris to shuffle things around can be worth it.

Depends on how you do it. I'm excited for it, possibly because I didn't play the others and so I don't actually know what the missing features would add to the game and it looks fun enough.

Sys reqs aside and in the debatably good impressions front, I've heard it described as 'very movie-like'.

As for the features missing: It was playably fun singleplayer before, for one thing.

A couple YTers I follow have had access. Here's the summary of the game as it stands right now, at least going by what's available:
1. No space battles.
2. Vehicles slightly different (They appear to be pickups/rewards of some kind and have timers on their use, rather than physically spawning in--on the flip side, you can access starfighters for land battles now and this'll make it a lot harder to camp with vehicles)
3. People are still assholes who label anyone that kills them a hacker.

Also the one map available is absurdly unbalanced, but that's 'cause early access and it's Hoth.

okay i think i maybe got this cost function defined? the part where the library magically figures out a way to minimize it i do not know how will work. it isn't even symbolically defined, you have to apply the output to a third piece of data before calculating edit distance. but for now i will trust in the magic and that it does what the documentation says it does, even if you try to do something stupid. that is work for tomorrow

Doctors at the Melbourne Royal Children's Hospital have taken a stand against the Federal Government and are refusing to return asylum seeker children to immigration detention, stating it would be highly unethical.

This sorta stuff gives me hope after all.
Put it this way, there's children in those prisons getting raped or other nasty shit, and the doctors are essentially risking jail by refusing to return them.

There's gonna be some really big change in this country soon.

Fuck, I have a decent sized HardDrive and I think that's WAY too much data. Also, I'm quite content with BF4.

I loved Battlefront 2, but 3 has yet to impress me. We'll see, I guess.

Found the magic that is Netflix now that the modem was moved into the living room to avoid any more problems related to cables being damaged. Now to watch a whole bunch of stuff I only ever heard about.
