I've been a bit depressed about my gaming PC because its been having trouble running things at 60 frames per second for a lot of games.  Then I started playing Shadow of Mordor yesterday and it runs fricking flawlessly and looks good.  So its not my computer that sucks, its all these horribly programmed games!

Protip: shadows require a huge amount of processing power compared to other graphics, and don't add that much to the experience. Same with reflections. Just imagine everyone's a vampire and your games will run just fine.

Heh, shadows are usually the first thing I turn down too.     I don't even care if the graphics are crappy quality, as long as I can get a full framerate I'm usually happy.  For some games it doesn't seem to matter what I turn on or off, I get a crappy framerate whether its maxed out or at minimum.  I don't really get it.
