About a decade ago I played a certain online flash game called Autumn War. Today, I finally finished it.
That's what it was called! I actually randomly remembered the gameplay a month ago or so for no reason but couldn't for the life of me recall the name. What are the odds?

Eventually deduced that about:newtab was crashing Firefox for whatever reason and fixed it to not try and show me that when opening a new tab.

Got a car just for me, basically for free, if you exclude the repairs. Guy we get hay from had it sitting in his wifes' parking spot for two years and didn't know what to do with it, she was complaining, so he just dumped it. Woo, free slightly-older car!

Free wasp nests too, but hey.

I got Skyrim to stop crashing, and all my mods seem to be functioning in harmony.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I'm not sure I understand. "Play"? What's that mean, in the context of a Bethesda game? Is it installing more mods, like the tea pickle recommends?

The idea of doing that with Daggerfall is kind of terrifying.

Won a long battle with my ex wife. My oldest kid was enrolled in a school ranked in the 8th percentile for academics in the state, and the bar is already pretty low. I found a school halfway between us that is in the 89th percentile. Ex wife put up a hell of a fight until yesterday, when she went to the school at the urging of our therapist. She immediately agreed to send our kid there. I've been trying to make this happen for almost a year.

Gratz, Max!

If you don't mind me asking, why was your ex opposed to your kid attending this better school?
