I've booked my ticket to St. Petersburg! I leave on the 4th of September on Lufthansa leaving from New York through Frankfurt. Total cost, all fees included: $348.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Today marks the first anniversary of my joining these forums (shoutout to Mlamlah), I ate a Domino's pizza instead of a frozen one, and my glorious wunderwaffe was finally developed (glory to Arstotzka). Today was a good day.

Shoot me a message when you're in the area for more than a few hours, will you? Frankfurt is actually not that far from Bonn...

Unfortunately, it's only a two-hour layover and I won't be able to leave the airport without clearing customs, but I hope to do some travelling around during the coming year...

Heh, that's what I meant actually - I did not mean to suggest you should take a multi-hour train trip during your layover :D

Not sure what I'm going to as her to (movies, bowling with friends, dinner, I don't know) but I'm going to ask her out.
Best of luck to you! Remember: A little alcohol is great to loosen the atmosphere, but too much can ruin the entire evening.

Work that was predicted to be absolutely hellishly busy is turning out to be a really pleasant slow day.  Not slow enough to be boring, but not hyper fast either....

That and I browse the happy thread while at work, getting paid for browsing forums.. neat.
