Also, 100% of people who brush their teeth, wash their cars, have showers, have their hair cut, shave, eat, and drink died too.

We must give up all of these things.

So, a slightly bittersweet happy (that may come off as callous to some of you, I don't know).

One of our dogs is being put down today. It's sad, especially since he was relatively young (he was only ten), but it's better than staying alive and suffering. He wouldn't eat at the end, and he'd lost so much weight he was basically skin and bone.

He had a good run, and now he gets to move on without pain. If I'm in the same situation when I'm seventy, I hope they make the same choice for me.

Rest in peace Brock. You will be missed, but it's for the best.
No I understand this completely.  I had some trouble letting go but it was really for the best.  She was still eating and affectionate, but she was an outdoor cat who couldn't go outdoors anymore.  Walking caused her a lot of pain, so yeah.  She's often hanging out in my dreams, healthy and happy.
Basically she got a warrior's death, just somewhat delayed by modern medicine.  She had a long, active life.

Awesome. (b'_')b

also ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Was having a very salty day. Then the weather's like "dude, here's some light rain to make the air smell real good, eh?" and then Shook is much less salty. I wonder if it's possible to artificially create rain smell. I'm an engineer student, surely there would be. :v

It's called Petrichor - it shouldn't be an impossible feat to produce that stuff artificially.
