I'm currently the closest thing to happy I've been in a long while. It's ... it's an enjoyable sensation. All warm and fuzzy and I feel sleepy for the first time in a while. And I know it isn't alcohol since I didn't drink any.

in my experience the french don't hate paris, they hate parisians.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Hahaha, seems I missed the Murrica bashing in my state of euphoric Frenchness; being a prime Murrica basher I will say this good thing: Your country has many venus fly traps, and that is a good thing and I hope you grow even more.

One and two the same it's all in a name, sorta like how everyone else in Britain hates Londiniums

It's pretty much reciprocal. We bash the parisians, and they bash us "provincials" in return.

August 7, 2015. Submission day of a movie I volunteered to make for our University's Psych team. (Compilation of seminars under a song).

Instructor and a few others present viewed it--and it was well received :D
Best thing was that it wasn't even due that day (...I had thought it was due on Friday.). Primarily because the 'deadline' was a 'secret nudge to my perfectionism' by instructor, so I won't keep modifying it ad infinitum on the many minor edges which aren't visible at all on first impression.

All I've to do is spruce it up and submit it by Monday. \o/

Alsoalso, 39th anniversary of my parents' marriage ._. Celebration was simple. Happy home.

Happy: Made someone else smile. Yay! :D

Ooooh, Paris is French London. Got you. (I mean, obviously in the sense of being a capital, but in other ways too). Does Paris also have disproportionately high public services spending?

Worked out, after discussing it with some people, that there is at least one situation in the English language where you can switch out one vowel in a word, and get a word with each of the 5 vowels.

Tried a Diablo 2 mod. Hell Unleashed, combined with the PlugY singleplayer survival mod.

My god, this is everything I wanted from Diablo 3. Everything great about Diablo 2 but improved tenfold. Now if I could get the Diablo 2 MultiRes mod working it'd be super cool.

Hot and Sour soup remains an effective, if temporary, symptom reliever of throat and sinus stuff. Would that I did not need it, though.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You could do what I did and binge Nichijou and Yuru Yuri at the same time.

Thinking of binging lucky star tonight, and maybe finally letting olga convince me to binge Kill la kill tomorrow

That means I either have gitten gud or neurotoxin'd myself enough after a week of flailing around a lab so much I can't tell I suck. Or, I guess, gitted gud thanks to neurotoxinning myself, if sixties are any indication. Either way, yayyyys! I may or may not still suck~!

Maaaan.

Swat 3 feels so much better designed than 4 the further I get into it. The church mission was great. Especially the music when you go dynamic.

Baking is over. Two months of god knows how many breads, cakes, cookies- finished. I have to deep-clean the bakery tomorrow, and then it'll be a month of intensive Russian review before I fly to St. Petersburg...

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.
