Still doing that whenever I get bored, actually. I'm going somewhat faster than I make new posts, so I'll catch up sooner or later. I'm a bit over 1000 posts in by now.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You really shouldn't be practically abusing the forum database like that though. It's kinda tacky on top of that, forget the past doomed to repeat it and stuff.

Hm, if it is causing slowdowns or other problems I'll give it a rest, I suppose. Say what I will about good for me, I don't actually want to be causing anybody else trouble.

I don't know if it is, or if it really could. But I know when toady has to do cleanup the board chugs for some people sometimes. If you're really deleting posts rapidly it could be causing problems.

Well, the posts themselves hang around, at least, so unless something weird is happening behind the scenes (which, to be fair, is always possible) the changes to the database should be smaller. Tell you what, though, I'll make sure I don't delete too many too fast in the future; put a cap on how many I'll let myself snip in any given hour or something. What it takes to screw up the board isn't a thing I want to actually test. Thanks for mentioning it. It hadn't occurred to me.

I didn't even realise you could delete posts.
Or is it topics that can't be deleted? I've never exactly tried.

So, um, are these all cringeworthy shitposts or are you just wiping everything for the hell of it?

My inspiration landfill is now around 75% steven universe, with the others being vignettes in that wierd bay12 world where caroline is a lich and one bit where I shat out a paragraph about Girls und Panzer in WWII before deciding on something else

happy comes bc I was able to write a good bit about crystal gems fighting homeworld gems in aztec central america, almost a full page and a half which is a lot more than I normally manage.
