Went to a really great open mic night today (or I guess it would be yesterday now), the most memorable bit being when one of the comics stripped down to his underwear as part of his routine (he had a partially excuse in that it had been raining and his clothes were wet). And I performed at the end and did pretty okay.

But how did you one-up that performance? Did you take it all off, or what? (Seriously though, great to hear your performance went well!)

Well, I wouldn't say I was able to one-up that performance, but I did open my routine by joking that I thought I was going last because I called the host an asshole last time. I then made an apology, and, since he wasn't paying attention (he was talking to someone else), I got to call him an asshole again for not listening to my apology.

Sorry for not replying right away, but it's been a sort of busy week for me. I have to work every day this week, and I had improv class on Tuesday and D&D on Wednesday. Tomorrow I'm going to see a comedy show with a school friend who's from around this area and now currently resides in Texas. Then, on Saturday, I'll be doing open mic again at the Cheba Hut, and hopefully I'll see my friend from work who wasn't able to make it last time I performed there. Today is the only day this week I'm not really doing anything (and I really should spend some time sorting out the error with my replacement license plate).

So it's a busy week, but I'm mostly enjoying it.
