EDIT: also my happies is that I've been productive: I'm almost finished with a drawing and I've written two (albeit short) chapters for a story that I've actually planned (well, to an extent. characters and cataclysm dda-inspired world are written out)

They were really bad today around here as well. I must have swatted about forty of the little assholes when I just let my dog out into the backyard this afternoon, I would've broken out the lighter and aerosol if I'd had to actually go anywhere on foot. The morning and evening were less bad, but they were still making nuisances of themselves.

We don't get that many mozzies here. We do, however, get them year-round. I am forever grateful for the fact that they are apparently to terrified of my to try to sahk my blut.

Watched Battlebots episode 2 on the youtubes.

So cool. Tombstone wrecking shit. Ghost Raptor getting caught in a net and having a rematch, only to break its spinner and still win. What basically amounted to a sumo match between Lockjaw and Overdrive, both being grabbers/flippers who tried to grab and suplex their opponent. That was surprisingly hype. Witch Doctor w/ a flamethrower minibot vs Bronco, with the minibot spewing flames everywhere and practically carrying its team as the main bot gets stuck on the edge of the arena from Bronco.

Gaaah. I wanna build robots. I really hope with this show's comeback and the Megabots mech duel video recently, I hope robots and mechs and electronics get to be a bigger thing for entertainment and shit. Robutts r so kewl.
