Finished my second run trough of the first season of True Detective. It was
as fun and amazing of an expirience as the first time. Everything is just done so damn right I can't really find a fault in the whole thing.

Season two started two days ago, so I'll have that to entertain myself with during the next two months, tho it's gonna be hard to transition from binge watching it in a day to having to actually wait for the next episode XD
I still haven't watched the first episode of the second season! My friends and I are waiting until we have a chance to watch it together.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Today's been decently fun, even if I had some chores to do and stuff. New phone seems great too. My old one was getting to the point where it had issues typing at times. New one seems fast enough that it makes my dad wish he knew how to use androids.

Evidently, years ago I recommended a book on World War 1 in this thread, after asking a professor because I'd long since sold my copy after the end of the semester and forgotten its actual title. Last month, by sheer coincidence, I bought the same book for $1 at a department book sale. I only realized it when I got to the post, the title clicked, and I looked directly behind me at my bookshelf.

The First World War by John Keegan, if anybody's interested.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I just realized I have enough money right now to buy some stuff to make ice cream! Just got to figure out what flavor I want to make.
Just make sure the ice cream is not flavoured spikes

I decided on something I call "chocolate-covered blackberry" flavor ice cream. I also found a 2-liter of birch beer.

Well this game has redeemed itself. I'll probably be playing more often (that is, at all) once the new set hits.
