Fallout 4 + Dishonored 2 gameplay footage... just wow. This might be the most hype I've felt about E3 in any year.

Doom and FO4 got me best. Mainly for MP gaming with my brothers (been deathmatching since the classic), and FO4 is just crazy-detailed now with it's customizability. Basically, it's like building your own Borderlands gun, and then some.

The hypermasculinity of the male characters in Bethesda games kind of annoy me, so I cope with making ugly crotchety old men. It's hilarious to kick ass as them.

It still can't top when I'm an overweight Russian grandma in Saints Row the Third though.

Last few posts prompted me to check out the Doom teasers...

The gameplay looks fantastic, but once again, I'm disappointed by the art direction.  It's not as bad as Doom 3.  The environments look like they actually do some justice to the original (Doom 3 was the ultimate generic non-descript sci-fi space station setting).  The monsters... are better than Doom 3's, but still don't look like they have near the personality that the original Doom games did.  I suppose it's a high bar to set, since original Doom is still my favorite art direction of any game ever... but the same company should be able to adapt their old work to modern day and retain more of its defining character than this.
