For some reason this makes me feel strangely patriotic, proud and/or defiant. This is weird.

I got a chuckle or two out of the gazillion tweets in response to tim hunt being a fucking idiot, but honestly the best one is still the veterinarian posting a picture of her palpating a cow with the #distractinglysexy hashtag because it's so fucking true.

Elbow deep in cow rectum is where most people start to reconsider their life choices, and or why the hell dad won't hire a vet. I'm lucky that i'm one of my two brothers that didn't ever have to do it, and I'm not ever gonna lose sleep about never having that life experience.

Saw Jurassic World last night. It's not a great movie, but it was much better than I expected and well worth seeing in the theater. Nice to seem them get it right!

Speaking of movies, I just watched Hobo With A Shotgun.
It was mostly pretty terrible (like, just plain bad, not "bad but funny because of how bad it is" kinda bad), but some of the kills were pretty cool. Oh and the idea of a bloodthirsty warrior roaming the wasteland murdering people with a fucking chainsaw made from the bones and teeth of his former victims is one of the coolest, most metal mental images I've had in a while.

Before that we watched Rubber, which was actually a really damn good film. That one I would like to watch again to try and understand more of it, it was truly amazing. Not what I was expecting at all. That's it, I think I'll sleep now.
