Listening to KIZ for the first time in ages, realizing in the process that the German word for 'son of a whore' is the idiomatic equivalent of 'motherfucker' in English.

Pretty sure those are towels. Yellow, fluffy, alien towels.

That just raising further questions of why they're using towels as pissoars!

DoomDrone: Groundhog Day meets Saving Private Ryan.
DoomDrone: Did I already mention Shadowrun meets iDOLM@STER? I think I did.
DoomDrone: Yes, I did.
DoomDrone: I could print money.
DoomDrone: But that sounds ambitious and I'm in antithesis of ambition mode, so maybe some other day.
DoomDrone: But re-approach that other idea. You're producing for a team of teenage girls, usually orphans, perhaps underprivileged youths, or neglected by their disgustingly wealthy parents with unmonitored access to expensive firearms, gadgets and explosives.
DoomDrone: You fix their jobs, arrange for the camera crew (think journalists who cover wars!), the insurance policy (an orc with cyber-spurs)... you have an instant hit. It's supposed to be a milk run, but four little girls make getting one under from Big Corporate look /good/.
DoomDrone: Women want you. Men want to be you! Well, no, neither of those things, but you get to groom and nurture a bunch of hormonal teens into killing machines in a grossly negligent manner.
DoomDrone: And... the other idea... I don't know. Tom Hanks leads his men through the D-Day invasion over, and over, and over again, into a psychosomatic, nihilistic romp of senseless slaughter.
DoomDrone: Totally metal, but probably not good cinema.

Reminds me that I was seriously considering trying to find out how to make a "Moecom" work. I think I eventually settled on magic girls vs aliens.

PirateCom is starting to spike my interest. I'll definitely give it a go sometime soon.

Mostly so I can detonate that bathroom.

EEEEEEE~!

Actually, it'll probably end horribly, but still, for the moment, I'm going to bask in my memories of bygone days.

I had a really weird/kinda funny/happy moment. Y'see, I'm home early, due to exams, so I was confused about why a bunch of people who are usually online on steam when I get home weren't on. I then remembered what time it was, and felt happy because WOO HOME BEFORE LUNCH

Oh and I just feel I should clear things up about that screenshot. There's actually no aliens In that image at all! Those bodies are all humans or just lightly mutated.

That ship judging by the documents I found on the engineer seems to be a freighter. No idea how long they operate continuously but there was a set of bunks on the first deck.

Also what's going on in that one engine room is me keeping an eye on captives. So if they get back up I can have someone punch them in the face again.

Well for it to work as intended, you need the live alien sale option enabled. Prisoners can be ransomed back to their factions in the "fence" menu at Base.  Alternatively, you can interrogate them as usual and can learn things based on their rank and faction.

Also any unit type you've interrogated can also be enslaved with the right tech. Which gives an extra slight payout of loot and they help manage your storage better.

Though if you just want money you're better off just ransoming them, breaking someone into a slave obviously makes them a harder sell.

...I meant capturing them. I assume it is a stun, like in the original? Or is there something special for PirateCom?

Oh. .v

Yeah you use stun weapons. Though there's a larger variety.
